In this report, we show how offshore wind has brought new jobs and opportunities to Grimsby.

The government has indicated a significant weakening of its support for renewable energy. This could adversely affect the economy of Grimsby and similar coastal communities, which has benefited from the growth of the offshore wind sector over the past 15 years, mainly due to clear national energy policy.

We make two recommendations for government action to prevent progress from stalling.
