Event details

The prime minister’s Ten point plan for a green industrial revolution promises a swathe of new jobs in the green economy across the UK, and the Queen’s speech recently set out government ambitions to level up the economy, helping those regions lagging behind through job creation and skill development.

This discussion will consider to what extent these two aims overlap and, where they do, what sort of jobs will they be, for who and where? More importantly, are they the kinds of jobs people want?
