- persuaded the government to back our call for a market for negawatts and introduce a new mechanism for rewarding electricity efficiency;
- worked with environmental NGOs to audit the environmental leadership of the three main parties;
- hosted major environment speeches by senior politicians, including the Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls;
- published influential research on low carbon infrastructure and the benefits of landfill bans;
- worked with leading businesses to identify the policy barriers to developing a circular economy; and
- stimulated debate within the Conservative Party about the future of green conservatism.
