The post-2015 development goals

Eradicating poverty through environmentally resilient development
The post-2015 development goals
In 2013 the high-level panel on UN development goals, then co-chaired by former Prime Minister David Cameron, developed a framework to replace the Millennium Development Goals after 2015.

We successfully influenced the UK's input to this process with our March 2013 policy insight, produced with Christian Aid, Greenpeace, RSPB and WWF, which proposed four essential environmental resilience tests to ensure that countries are set on a development path that guarantees a sustainable future.

The panel's final report put sustainability at the heart of the post-2015 development framework.
