Bilan joined Green Alliance in January 2026 as a fundraising trainee. She is gaining hands-on experience supporting funder research, grant administration and impact reporting, as well as maintaining accurate funding records and supporting outreach to partners and funders. Bilan graduated in 2025 with an LLB in Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Alongside her studies, she led pro bono outreach programmes with secondary schools across London, delivering workshops on access to justice and the legal system.
Prior to joining Green Alliance, Bilan worked with Citizens Advice in the energy and debt team, where she managed a personal caseload and supported clients experiencing fuel poverty. This experience shaped her interest in how energy policy and the transition to a low-carbon economy can deliver fair outcomes for communities. Outside of work, Bilan enjoys mentoring young people, learning new recipes and reading.
