Positive Action Trainee Scheme

About

Our Positive Action Trainee Scheme, launched in July 2024, aims to kickstart careers in the environmental sector and provide opportunities to underrepresented groups. We offered roles in our policy, politics and operations teams for 12 months starting on 4 November.

Applications closed on 2 September 2024.

This scheme is run in collaboration with Creative Access and applications must be made via the Creative Access platform. We cannot accept direct applications for these roles.

Please note, applications were invited from those underrepresented in the environmental and think tank sectors. This includes, but is not limited to, Black, Asian and ethnically diverse candidates and individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.

Kickstarting my career with Green Alliance has been an invaluable experience. Graduate scheme

The Positive Action Trainee Scheme replaces our Graduate Scheme which ran from 2015 to 2024. This offered new graduates the chance to launch their careers with a year’s paid work as policy assistants.
