Heather joined Green Alliance as a policy analyst in May 2021.
Prior to this she was an interdisciplinary research fellow at the Walker Institute, University of Reading working on climate adaptation and resilience building in Africa. Her research included flood forecasting and food security in Uganda and regional climate risk assessments for Africa and the Middle East. She completed a fellowship at the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology in 2019 where she wrote a briefing for MPs and peers on climate change and agriculture.
Heather has a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Reading and a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
