Saima Rasool

Saima is a strategy and sustainability specialist with experience across policy making, energy regulation, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risk and strategy consulting.

Saima’s authorship includes the influential reports: KPMG diversity for net zero and KPMG net zero influencers. She is also a lead author for the groundbreaking Muslim climate action report by Two Billion Strong. She has contributed to global climate discussions as a COP28 UK youth delegate and speaker; and was a TED Countdown 2023 youth delegate and speaker. She is the co-chair of the Emerging Leaders’ Alliance for Anthropy (dubbed ‘the UK Davos’).

As a first-generation university graduate, second-generation Kashmiri and practising Muslim, she champions diversity, inclusion and equity. Saima has held positions at KPMG, Ofgem, the Council of European Energy Regulators, HM Treasury and the House of Commons, where she has made significant contributions to shaping sustainability policies and practices.

Saima joined Green Alliance as a trustee in September 2024.
