Summary
On Tuesday 4 November 2025, we held ‘Rebuilding the environmental consensus’, a flagship conference, at a critical juncture for the UK-wide climate and environmental agenda.
Coming at an important moment, just ahead of the COP30 climate summit, we brought together a powerful cross section of leaders from politics, business and civil society to make the case for rebuilding the UK’s cross-party consensus.
In panel discussions with experts, we explored political shifts and public narratives, the green economy as a growth opportunity and whether nature holds the key to rebuilding the environmental consensus.
With speeches from, and conversations with, leading voices throughout the day, this event served to align thinking and confirm the strong and broad support for ambitious political leadership on the environment in the UK.
