Overview
Circular businesses are already cutting costs, reducing waste, creating good jobs, and supporting local communities all across the UK. From fashion to manufacturing, they’re showing how repairing, reusing, and refurbishing can deliver real economic and environmental benefits.
But they’re still the exception not the norm, and we need clear political leadership to change this. With the government now developing England’s first circular economy strategy, this is a crucial moment. The strategy must go beyond small steps and set out an ambitious plan to reduce resource use, support circular businesses, and make circularity a mainstream, attractive option across the economy.
Join Green Alliance for this timely webinar to explore our latest report on how circular businesses are already making a difference, and what government must do to help them scale.
We’ll hear from PwC on why circularity isn’t just good for the environment but makes strong business sense. We’ll also hear from the people behind circular businesses themselves, including Advanced Clothing Solutions, a circular fashion business helping fashion retailers to tap into the circular fashion market, and the Greater Manchester Renew Hub.
The panel discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A.
