Starting my career at Green Alliance has been a great opportunity to learn about how to bring about positive change in UK politics. The team here have so much expertise and have really helped to demystify the inaccessible world of Westminster. From day one, Green Alliance has consistently made me feel that they value my perspective and provided the support necessary for me to develop my knowledge and skills.

Working at Green Alliance has been an exciting way to apply my knowledge of economics and the environment into practice. I've contributed to work across different policy topics like nature-economy and industrial decarbonisation, while learning how a think tank influences positive change. The team has been friendly and supportive throughout the traineeship, and I feel like I have learnt so much and grown confident working in a political environment.

Nadia Sabania, policy and programme assistant

Starting my career at Green Alliance has been a great introduction to the environmental sector. No two days have felt the same, helping me to develop practical skills, from compiling funder reports to understanding internal operations in finance and data. I've also observed how UK environmental policy is shaped and had the chance to engage professionally with stakeholders, across business, NGOs and government. These experiences have added real value to my career and helped clarify the kind of work I’d like to pursue next.
