Chris is a political strategist and campaigns specialist. As senior fellow, he provides senior-level insight on UK politics, helping strengthen the organisation’s political analysis, strategy and external engagement during a period of significant change.
Chris works across Green Alliance’s networks and programmes to help build the political resilience the climate and nature movement needs in a turbulent moment – protecting democratic space, rebuilding trust, and shaping the conditions for long-term environmental progress.
Previously, as director of politics, Chris led Green Alliance’s political and movement engagement work, overseeing projects and coalitions including Warm This Winter, the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Environment and Project Boost, a development programme for public affairs professionals.
Before joining Green Alliance, Chris worked in Parliament as policy adviser to Caroline Lucas MP and in various civil society roles, including as a human rights observer in South-West Asia. He has provided strategic advice to organisations such as IPPR, The Climate Coalition and the CAST Centre.
