Securing our future: COP26 reception, in partnership with WWF and SERA

A successful COP26 will lay the foundations for the work of future governments in tackling climate change and will be essential in ensuring climate justice and a liveable planet. This event was an opportunity to pitch Labour’s vision for climate action in the run up to, and post COP26. The event took place outside the conference secure zone so is accessible to those without a conference pass.

Three speakers have five minutes to sell their big idea on reducing home and local emissions. The audience will then have a chance to question them in return.

Green Alliance and WWF drinks reception: Keeping 1.5 Alive at COP26

With less than a month to go until COP26, Green Alliance and WWF are hosting an extra special reception at Conservative Party conference to celebrate the UK’s Presidency of the most important climate summit in a generation. The event will include a keynote speech from the COP president, the Rt Hon Alok Sharma MP, as we galvanise ambition and action in these final critical weeks to keep 1.5 alive at COP and beyond.
