Heather joined Green Alliance in May 2021 as a policy analyst and is currently head of research (job share). She works on industrial decarbonisation, North Sea oil and gas, critical raw materials needed for the net zero transition, integrating nature into our economic system and the transition to a circular economy. Previously she was a research fellow at the Walker Institute, working on climate adaptation. During her PhD she did a 3 month fellowship at the Parliamentary Office for Science and Technology on climate and agriculture. She loves the sea, being outdoors in nature and finding bargains in charity shops.
