Matilda joined Green Alliance in November 2024 as a policy analyst and supports the work in the Natural Environment theme.
Prior to starting at Green Alliance, she studied for a PhD at Imperial College London, evaluating the United Nations’ work on biodiversity. Previously, Matilda worked as a biodiversity specialist for the UN’s Food and Agricultural Organisation and as a researcher at the University of Oxford where she focussed on topics such as international wildlife trade and sustainable use. She has published her research in several scientific journals and presented at international environmental conferences.
Outside of work, Matilda aspires to make more sustainable lifestyle choices by making and mending her clothes. In her spare time, she is also learning French.
