Sara Bellar

Politics trainee

Sara joined Green Alliance in November 2024 as a politics trainee, and is gaining experience in a range areas across the political leadership theme.

Prior to this, Sara worked as an administrative assistant at the Embassy of Ireland in London while also participating in various volunteering projects. Notably, she served as a project researcher for the Sustainability Initiative at the Swiss Relief Foundation, contributing to a project aimed at introducing hydroponic farming to support families facing food poverty in Ecuador. She is also a member of Common Futures Conversations at Chatham House, an initiative designed to empower young people in Africa and Europe to engage directly with presidents, prime ministers and policymakers. Sara holds a BA (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Northeastern University London. She also attended an artistic high school prior to her degree where she studied fine arts and interior design.

Sara is passionate about diversity of all types and strongly opposes injustice.
