Summary
This edition of Inside Track looks at the economic and financial uncertainty the country faces, and how this is creating a new operating environment for our community. The financial crisis has shown us what environmental scientists have known for a long time, that we are all in this together, and that we neglect systemic risk at our peril. Business thinking is often ahead of government policy in grappling with resource stewardship, and NGO and academic understanding of risk and uncertainty is often ahead of that of business and government.
