How can reducing traffic help the UK meet its climate targets?
Event details
Alongside widespread electric vehicle adoption, reducing traffic levels is one of the other ways emissions from transport can be cut.
Converting more car journeys to walking, cycling, and public transport not only aligns with the Department for Transport’s aim to make these the “most natural first choice for journeys”, but also helps with congestion, air pollution and wellbeing.
We were delighted to host this event during which we heard from leading minds in the field, discussing the best ways to reduce the need for car travel and what it means for communities, the environment, and the future of travel.
