Event details

Following the news that lab grown meat was due to hit the shelves for the first time, we heard from a panel of experts on what this new technology will mean for food, farming and the environment.

Proponents emphasise the environmental and animal welfare potential of these technologies, but there are concerns about ownership and distribution of economic benefits, as well as the serious potential impact on the farming community.

This event is being kindly supported by Nestlé.
